The Oersted´s experiment
Hans Oersted was preparing his class of physics in the University of Copenhaguen, one evening of April, 1820, when, on having moved a compass next to a cable that was leading electrical current, it noticed that the needle was moving up to staying in a position perpendicular to the direction of the cable. Later, a big quantity of times repeated the experiment, confirming the phenomenon. For the first time a connection had been between the electricity and the magnetism, in an accident that can be considered to be the birth of the electromagnetism.
THE CURRENT THAT CIRCULATES ALONG A DRIVER IS CAPABLE OF CREATING A MAGNETIC FIELD AROUND HIM.

The Michael Faraday´s experiment
Thanks to Oersted, Michael Faraday knew that an electrical current generates magnetic fields. In 1831 it tried to reproduce this process, but in inverse sense, that is to say, that a magnetic field will generate an electrical current. In 1831 the English physicist Michael Faraday discovers that moving a magnet inside an electrical driver an electrical current is generated. To this phenomenon it is named an Electromagnetic Induction and to the generated current, induced current and it is an alternating current.
The electromagnetic induction is the foundation of the generators of electrical current.
